so I have been looking up colleges lately and I was looking through Columbia University in their writing program. and it said you need to send in an undergraduate transcript when applying.





Is that your highschool transcript? or do you have to go to a college before that one?

Undergrad transcripts are not high school transcripts. They are from colleges you either graduated from or previously attended. You may have been looking in the Graduate Programs area, for which yes, you would need to send your undergrad records. Try going back and making sure you are looking at the undergrad section.
