How much does a W in a transcript affect the chances of gettin admitted to a school?

Completely depends on the school and the class. I had a W from speech my freshman yr but it showed I took the class a yr later with an A and they never questioned it. Usually not a big deal unless you have several...they pay much more attention to overall GPA.
