Missing W2!!! Can I send in the Tax Transcript instead? Help!!?

I'm filing taxes for a previous year, and I'm missing the actual W2s and 1099s. I requested a Tax Transcript from the IRS, and received that.

Can I send in a copy of that Tax Transcript, plus the last paystub (which details local tax info) instead? Or do I have to fill out form 4852?

THANKS ALL!Missing W2!!! Can I send in the Tax Transcript instead? Help!!?
If you have the IRS transcript that is sufficient. No Form 4852 is needed. Just send in a copy of the transcript attached to your return.Missing W2!!! Can I send in the Tax Transcript instead? Help!!?
Yes you can it will be ok.
I'd use the 4852, Substitute form W-2. You can download one from the IRS web site.. www.irs.gov. They have pdf versions of their forms, and you can actually fill it in online and print from your computer.
