How does a person go about getting a transcript from a civil case from the 1960's?

Bristol County Massachusetts. I have the name but no docket numberHow does a person go about getting a transcript from a civil case from the 1960's?
Well you have the name of the case but no case number. Huh. Okay this is what I have for you:

This first link is to the Bristol Probate and Family Court. This is the closest thing I could get to as far as a civil courthouse. So good luck there. Try calling the numbers provided. They may or may not be at liberty to divulge the information. I dunno.

This second link is for a serach query. Obviously you don't want to give out the case number over the internet, so my hands are tied. You'll need to do the serach youself and hope for the best! The search box is towards the right hand top corner. The list may lead you to find more information, so surf a bit if you wish or hit a dead end with the search.

Anyway, I think that's about all I am able to do for you, honestly about all anyone can do. It's up to you now. Good luck! How does a person go about getting a transcript from a civil case from the 1960's?
call the county clerk's office and ask for information. be prepared to tell them why you need it as in law school, or class assignment. you will probably have to pay a fee.
Go to your local law library.
if you know who or the name is on that case you could do a search in the law library in the county building as well
Public Records search will turn it up, then pay a fee and get a copy
